Micah, Amy and their family came to visit in July (I think) and there was so many of us that wanted to see them, that we had to have a party. We met at the beach and ate dinner and caught up with their awesome family. We miss them in our ward and in our school. Several of our kids match up in age and in fact, Ellie and Norah were best friends in kindergarten and 1st grade. They keep in touch still, by snail mail and the telephone. They'll literally talk for an hour and only get off because we say that's enough. They are a great family and we can't wait to see them again! Amy's baby, Ethan has gotten so big!
The kids really wanted to go down to the beach, even though it was 60 degrees out. And the water was cold. It's been a really cool summer. So, I took a group down to the water. MJ and her best friend, Madison rolled up their shorts and tried to keep clothes dry...
It didn't work! There was a little hill of sand along the shore and they couldn't get up in time! They were soaked in short order!

It was like Ellie and Norah had never been apart! These two girls played and talked and talked and talked some more! They didn't care how cold it was. They got fully in the water anyway.

Before they left town, we got our families together once more. The adults went out to dinner, while the kids stayed home and played. You can tell from the photos that the Harman's live in Utah now...they spent a few days in sunny California and they were sun burnt! Ouch. A little more background...Micah is an artist who works from home. Rusty used to be an airplane parts broker from home as well. These guys would spend a lot of time helping families move, going out to eat, and doing who knows what else together. They are such good friends. We really do miss this family!
