These guys are growing up right before our eyes!  I can hardly believe these are my babies!  I love them so much!  They are each such wonderful, smart, and good individuals.  I am so lucky to be their mom.  I am very thankful.

4th Grade Recorder Concert

 MJ and all the 4th graders are learning to play the recorder.  The concert was really fun and cute.  But... you can imagine 100+ nine year olds playing the recorder in 'unison'.  Even at home we encourage her to practice in her room with the door closed!  And she sounds pretty good!

 MJ got the special honor of playing one of the xylophone parts.  She didn't tell me before that she would be doing that.  She just surprised us!  She did excellent on that instrument too!

Ren had to sit through the 45 minute recorder concert, thus the intense facial expression!!  No, I'm teasing.  He actually loves to make faces for the camera.

Strings Concert

 Ellie played cello in the annual, regional strings concert.  Here she is talking to Wyatt behind her before the concert starts.

 You can't see Ellie's face or fingers as she plays, but she is getting pretty good.  The cello is such a beautiful instrument!

 Ellie and one of her best friends, Lucy, who plays the violin.
