MJ and all the 4th graders are learning to play the recorder. The concert was really fun and cute. But... you can imagine 100+ nine year olds playing the recorder in 'unison'. Even at home we encourage her to practice in her room with the door closed! And she sounds pretty good!
MJ got the special honor of playing one of the xylophone parts. She didn't tell me before that she would be doing that. She just surprised us! She did excellent on that instrument too!

Ren had to sit through the 45 minute recorder concert, thus the intense facial expression!! No, I'm teasing. He actually loves to make faces for the camera.
