We celebrated this special 49th anniversary at a restaurant called 'Cuts' located in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Fancy! And up we pulled for our valet parking in our Honda minivan, along with all the Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferraris. No, seriously.
We ordered steaks and salmon (Mom had that), with fancy potatoes, onion rings, yummy corn and delicious sauces for dipping. When the servers brought out our meals, they were placed in front of each of us at exactly the same time. Again, it was very fancy and really neat. After a fabulous meal this platter of little cookies was brought out. They were sliding around the plate as I tried to get a photo. :) When the bill was brought out, there was discussion of calling the other brothers and sisters to help pay for the cost of our fancy meal out at 'Cuts' for Mom and Dad's anniversary. :)
Well worth it, Paul and LuJean are really special! We are lucky kids!
