We took a float trip down the Huzzah River. It was a hot day and the water was so perfect. We had quite a large group with 3 big intertube boats and 1 small one. We were having so much fun along the way, swimming, snorkeling, fishing and all. In fact, we had a hard time keeping people in the boats to actually make headway down the river!


There was a lot of fishing going on throughout the trip, Ben, Jed, and Dad being the most aggressive fishermen. One day, we took out all the kids to get some fishing in. We didn't catch too much, but everyone had fun! (I think that is where I picked up my 'chigger' bites that plagued me for weeks after!)

We were lucky to be there to celebrate my Dad's birthday! We had the traditional strawberry shortcake. It was delicious, as usual!
